Use Portable Air Conditioner - When the temperature rises, it is time to turn on the air conditioner. model is relatively new and popular portable air conditioner. Less bulky than window units and much less expensive than central air conditioner units, allowing freedom of portable air conditioner units are easy to move to any room you want to cool.


How to Use Portable Air Conditioner


Select room you wish to cool. Purchase portable air conditioner with enough cooling power to cool area. Most units come with window kit that includes panels, connector, exhaust hose and adapter.


Wheel portable air conditioner into room and place near window or door. Attach exhaust connector to opening on back of air conditioner. Slip one end of flexible exhaust hose onto connector.


Measure window or door opening where you will be venting portable air conditioner. Adjust panels accordingly to fit opening. Make sure one of panels you use has vent hole.


Slide other end of exhaust hose into vent hole in panel. Place panels into window or door. Close window or door as much as possible.


Choose to operate air conditioner in Auto Mode or Cool Mode. In Auto Mode, unit will turn on when temperature in room is higher than 73 degrees; in Cool Mode, you must set desired temperature by pressing TEMP UP or TEMP DOWN.
