How to Winterize Freus Air Conditioner
Turn off air conditioner and disconnect it from electrical outlet. Check circuit breaker on wall next to unit and switch off device.
Remove screened intake louver with screwdriver. Disconnect pump bracket but do not remove pump's wiring connection. Remove pump and then clean screen on pump.
Put on gloves and safety glasses. Detach water drain cap by pulling it out. Clean sump with rag.
Rinse sump with hose, then reinstall pump.
Turn off and drain water supply line. Place insulated cover on Freus air conditioner.
