How to Use Auto Air Conditioner Gauges
Connect red high-pressure hose to red high-pressure side of auto air conditioner gauge. Screw hose onto threaded connector in clockwise direction until it is tight. Connect blue low-pressure hose to blue low-pressure side of gauge in same manner.
Remove black cap of high-pressure fitting on auto air conditioner by turning it counterclockwise. Attach other loose end of red high-pressure hose to high-pressure fitting and screw it on clockwise until it is tight. Attach low-pressure blue hose to low pressure fitting on car in same manner.
Refer to vehicle's specifications for normal range of high-pressure and low-pressure readings to determine if you need adjustments. specifications list is in owner's manual or in vehicle repair manual for specific make and model of car.
